How to search our platform
We’ve built one of the world’s most advanced tech for our stock photography platform, and one of the most powerful features is our search engine. You can search in any combinations of ways. We have curated over 320,000 images available for royalty-free, commercial, and editorial licensing, and over 1m available for AI training.
And our platform returns search results instantly as you type because we built it to scale seamlessly as we add massive amounts of content and data.
Start your search here, https://www.pocstock.com/search/
You can search by keyword to explore our entire library
Use simple and descriptive keywords and phrases to instantly search our entire library in milliseconds. Describe the type of person, place, and activity.
e.g. Young Black woman running in the park, Asian woman dancing
And/or you can use our Search Filters to narrow results
You can either search by keywords first then narrow the results by using the Search Filters, OR use the Search Filters first to limit the scope of the specific content type then use keywords to search through the targeted results.
e.g. You can set filters for Photos > Commercial > Black > Zambian > Male
You can filter by:
- Asset type (eg. photos, videos, illustrations)
- Usage (eg. commercial or editorial)
- Categories (eg. Business, Fitness, Travel, Lifestyle, Healthcare, and more)
- Racial group (eg. Black, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, Caucasian, and more)
- Ethnicity (eg African American, Chinese, Indian, etc.)
- Gender (eg. Male, Female, Non-binary)
- and more
If you don’t have time to search, let our search team handle it for you
Send a note to our team, and we can search for you. At any given time, we have hundreds of thousands of assets in process behind the scenes and not yet available to the public. If you can’t find it, it’s possible we have it in process and can locate the perfect image for you.
AI Search assistance coming soon
The AI is currently being trained on our customer behaviors, and we will be launching new AI-powered search and recommendation features shortly.
It’s still Hispanic Heritage Month!
Over the past few weeks, we had the pleasure of sitting down with several Latine creatives to explore their journeys and the valuable lessons they’ve learned along the way. Below, you can check out two of the four insightful videos we’ve created from these conversations with Adriana Pirela and Jonathan Izquierdo. Stay tuned for the others being published weekly.
instock: We have now curated over 320,000 royalty-free stock images!
It’s pretty normal to see some of our clients using multiple stock companies because not one stock company has everything you need. Think of it like streaming services, each platform has different content. You can use our platform for all of your images featuring people of color, and the others for everything else.
We have hand-curated over 320,000 stock images on pocstock.com, so it’s the perfect time to sign up!
If you need images of poc, we’ve got plenty of content in stock!

Why are some pumpkins teal, and not orange?
The Teal Pumpkin Project, initiated by Food Allergy Research & Education(FARE) in 2014, encourages households to display a teal pumpkin to make Halloween more inclusive for kids with food allergies. By placing a teal pumpkin on your porch, you signal that you’re offering non-food treats, making it a safer and more enjoyable night for everyone.
Research indicates that certain communities of color, particularly Black and Latino families, face systemic barriers in healthcare, which can exacerbate the risks associated with food allergies.
As we approach Halloween, a time celebrated for its creativity and community spirit, it’s essential to reflect on how we can make this holiday safe and inclusive for all children, particularly those with food allergies. The Teal Pumpkin Project, which promotes non-food treats for trick-or-treaters, is a significant step in ensuring that children with allergies feel included in the festivities. This campaign is especially vital for children of color in the U.S., who often face additional challenges related to health disparities and representation.

pocstock partners with Black Visionaries
We had an amazing time at Founder’s Day, hosted by the talented folks at Black Visionaries. It was a celebration of Black professionals coming together from all corners of different industries, and it felt great to be part of this growing community. We caught up with CEO and Founder Aaron Francois and asked him to share his thoughts on working with pocstock.
“As soon as I was introduced to pocstock a few years ago, I was immediately drawn to the brand’s mission of creating visibility for diverse individuals through photography. Since that moment, we’ve been fortunate to collaborate and optimize processes in a way that enhances our event experiences.
As a marketer, I understand better than most that a picture is worth a thousand words. Unfortunately, some stock photography platforms tell only a homogeneous story. Stock photography that prioritizes representation is not just a nice addition; it’s a cultural necessity that leads to impactful work. Brands and individuals can only contextualize their work after seeing the different facets of “the Black experience,” and pocstock has broken the mold by ensuring our stories are told beyond traditional media.
There’s also a confidence that comes from using a platform where users can see a diverse and non-monolithic representation of themselves—filled with joy and reflecting various ages, skin tones, and gender expressions. We look forward to continuing to break norms together in the years to come!” – Aaron Francois Founder & CEO at Black Visionaries
