Representation doesn’t start on a stage or a screen. It starts with everyday people, living, thriving, and showing up in all the ways media rarely captures with accuracy. It starts with your neighbor, your cousin, your barber, your homegirl, your abuela, and yes, it starts with you.
At pocstock, we’re not just building a stock photography library. We’re creating a data-rich, culture-driven visual record designed to feed the future of media, marketing, and AI. We’re capturing faces, sure, but also culture. And for that, we need models who reflect the true variety of our communities.
This isn’t about being a “model” in the traditional sense. We’re not chasing runways. We’re documenting everyday reality, with all the nuance, complexity, and beauty that comes with it.
We’re looking for models of all races, genders, body types, abilities, and identities to help us shape inclusive AI from the ground up. Whether you’re in Atlanta or Oakland, Lagos or São Paulo, we want you. But if you’re in the New York City, Newark, or New Jersey area, you’re right in the center of where many of our shoots happen. Step in.
You don’t need a portfolio. You just need to be you. Because real people shape real data. And that’s what will make tomorrow’s AI more inclusive.

The Problem: Representation has been limited to the same types of bodies and skin tones
Open a stock photo site and search for “Black father,” “Latina CEO,” or “disabled student.” What you’ll get is either a handful of staged clichés or worse, no results at all.
That’s not a glitch. That’s a systemic issue. At pocstock, we’re fixing it.
For far too long, stock photography, and by extension, marketing and media, has erased or watered down the lived experiences of people of color. The result? A skewed visual narrative that shapes how the world sees us, and how we see ourselves.
Our goal is to build a dataset of more than just faces, we’re capturing culture, context, emotion, and lived experience. Because inclusive media starts with inclusive data. And the most powerful AI of the future will be built on images like yours.
We want real people.
We’re not interested in performative diversity. We’re building a movement where authenticity leads. Where a dad helping with homework, a queer couple grilling in the backyard, or a multigenerational family celebrating graduation is more than just “content”, it’s cultural documentation.
That’s why we need people from all backgrounds. Every race, every body type, every hairstyle, every wrinkle, every scar, every stretch mark. Every story.
We’re especially calling for:
Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Asian communities to show up fully and joyfully
People with disabilities in everyday scenarios not just medical or clinical depictions
LGBTQ+ folks in all stages of life, from pride to parenthood
Seniors and elders whose wisdom and style need to be seen
Kids and teens just being themselves
People of all body types, owning their look and living confidently
Religious communities, cultural dress, traditions, and holidays
Neurodivergent individuals, creatives, and thinkers doing their thing
Are we shown in our full brilliance, or boxed into tired clichés? At pocstock, we’re changing the lens. We’re showing the world what real looks like. Join us.
